I take an individualized approach with every client. After an initial needs assessment, we’ll work together to identify your goals for therapy. Treatment is always tailored to your unique needs, symptoms, and goals. Depending on what’s most helpful for you, I may incorporate evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness and relaxation techniques, and a focus on problem-solving to support lasting change.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a highly effective, evidence-based approach that helps people understand how their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are connected. By identifying and challenging unhelpful patterns, CBT empowers individuals to respond to life’s challenges in healthier, more balanced ways. CBT is collaborative, goal-oriented, and structured—making it especially helpful for issues like anxiety, depression, stress, and burnout.

I work with adults and couples navigating a variety of challenges and life transitions. My practice focuses on issues like anxiety, depression, ADHD, stress management, burnout prevention and recovery, procrastination, and imposter syndrome. I also specialize in work-related concerns—including career transitions, boundary-setting, and navigating high-pressure environments. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or simply looking to improve your overall well-being, therapy offers a supportive space to move forward with clarity and confidence.

The first session is a combination of a full intake and a conversational space to begin building rapport. I’ll ask questions to better understand your history, current challenges, and goals for therapy. We may also use assessments or questionnaires to help guide the process. Most importantly, you’ll have space to ask any questions you have about working together and get a feel for whether therapy with me feels like a good fit.

Sessions are typically 45 minutes. I generally recommend meeting weekly, especially at the beginning, to build momentum and support consistent progress. That said, I understand that life can be busy, so we can adjust the frequency based on your schedule, needs, and goals.

I currently offer virtual therapy sessions only. As a therapist licensed in California, I work with clients located anywhere within the state. Sessions are conducted through a secure, HIPAA-compliant video platform to ensure your privacy and comfort.

I am a private pay provider and do not bill insurance directly. However, I’m happy to provide superbills for clients who have out-of-network benefits and wish to seek reimbursement from their insurance. If you're considering this option, I recommend contacting your insurance provider in advance to confirm your out-of-network mental health benefits and reimbursement rates. I also accept clients through Lyra Health, an employee mental health benefit offered by some employers.

Yes. As a licensed therapist, I am legally and ethically required to protect your confidentiality. This is a key difference between working with a licensed mental health professional and working with a coach or counselor who may not be governed by the same laws or standards. We will review the topic of confidentiality in the first session and I will answer any questions you may have before we begin our work.
